What you need to know about the company:

This is a growing managed technology company supporting enterprise clients. The company operates in a fast-paced, recurring-revenue environment where accounting accuracy, process discipline, and cross-functional collaboration matter. This role sits on the finance team and supports scalable financial operations as the business continues to grow.

What you will do:

You will oversee daily accounting operations, manage the general ledger, and lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. This includes preparing and reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, financial statements, and executive reporting dashboards.

You will also manage telecom-specific accounting areas, including revenue recognition for multi-year contracts, monthly recurring revenue and costs, installation fees, and usage-based billing. The role works closely with operations to reconcile carrier invoices, ensure accurate cost reporting, analyze billing disputes, and manage accruals tied to disconnects or billing errors.

In addition, you will partner with outside tax advisors on telecom-related taxes and fees, support audit readiness, and help maintain strong internal controls across accounting functions.

What you bring to the table: Qualifications

You bring a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, along with 4–8+ years of progressive accounting experience.

You are comfortable owning full-cycle accounting work, managing close deadlines, reviewing financial statements, and digging into complex reconciliations without needing someone to hold your calculator.

You should have advanced QuickBooks and Excel skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to analyze complex data with a high degree of accuracy. Strong communication skills are important, especially when explaining financial concepts to non-finance teams such as sales, operations, or engineering.

What you can learn on the job:

Experience in telecommunications, SaaS, recurring revenue, or managed service provider environments is preferred but not required. Familiarity with telecom billing platforms, tax engines, Salesforce, telecom taxation, carrier cost management, or network hardware inventory.

This is a strong opportunity for someone who already has a solid accounting foundation and wants to deepen their experience in a specialized, high-growth technology environment with complex revenue, cost, and compliance considerations.
